We welcome motivated students with a background in chemical engineering, chemistry, materials science, physics, or related fields. Our research spans soft materials design, microfabrication, and wearable device engineering — no single background is required; curiosity and commitment matter most.
Prospective students are encouraged to contact Prof. Yoon by email with a brief description of their research interests and a CV before the formal application deadline. Admission is through the Graduate School of the University of Seoul.
Undergraduate students at the University of Seoul interested in laboratory research are welcome to inquire about internship opportunities throughout the year. Experience with synthesis, polymer processing, or device fabrication is a plus, but not required.
Positions for post-doctoral researchers are available subject to funding. Applicants should have a strong publication record in soft matter, polymer science, flexible/stretchable electronics, or closely related areas. Please contact Prof. Yoon directly with a CV, publication list, and a brief statement of research interests.
We have an active international collaborator network and regularly welcome students and researchers from abroad. Korean language proficiency is not required — our lab operates in both Korean and English. Government-funded fellowships (e.g., KGSP, NRF) may be available to support international students and post-docs.
